The range of fire-retardant coatings is the result of the expertise and research capabilities of Renner Italia, one of the leading international players in the sector of coatings for wood, metal, plastic, PVC and glass.
Based in Minerbio, in the Bologna chemical district, Renner Italia is at the heart of the Renner Global Alliance, a network operating in 68 countries. When a coating contributes to fire safety, every detail counts. That is why Firewall systems can rely on Renner Italia’s technical and manufacturing expertise.
There are 72 chemists working in the company’s laboratories. Every day, five new formulations are developed, designed to meet market demands, regulatory changes and application requirements. The Renner range comprises thousands of formulations, designed to combine technical performance, process reliability and aesthetic quality.

A structure dedicated to supporting projects
Renner Italia has 400 employees and operates across a total area of 100,000 m², of which 40,000 m² is covered. Laboratories, production facilities, logistics and technical support work in an integrated manner to ensure continuity, control and expertise at every stage: from formulation to production, right through to application and cycle testing.

Responsible innovation
Renner’s research focuses on performance, but also on the impact of industrial processes. The factories are powered entirely by energy from renewable sources, and 8,000 m² of solar panels cover the roofs.
Environmental sustainability goes hand in hand with a business vision based on the value of people and relationships. For this industrial model, Renner Italia was the first company to receive the Adriano Olivetti National Award from the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy.
